Delivery Framework

Control room

Each Niteworks Theme seeks to answer a capability-related question posed by a Niteworks sponsor. Our wide customer base includes MOD central staff, project teams, warfare centres and warfighters. Niteworks delivers advice and recommendations, including sound supporting evidence, to MOD sponsors and decision-makers.

Operating Process

Niteworks operates under a MOD agreed Operating Process which is designed to take questions and Themes derived from the MOD list of warfighting experiment questions, confirm their suitability for study by Niteworks, and then progress them through experimentation to provide evidenced interventions in an appropriate report format.

Evidenced Interventions

To address these questions effectively, Niteworks seeks to place them in the right context; that is to fully understand the background to the question, to capture and exploit all related work, and to set the question in an appropriate battlespace context that reflects all Defence Lines of Development. Niteworks aims to deliver its output and answer to the question posed by MOD in the form of evidenced interventions.

Delivering Early Changes in Operational Capability

The process is intended to balance control with operating at high tempo, to ensure rapid supportable interventions, delivering early changes in operational capability. Throughout the process, and at critical decision points, there is regular interaction with the Theme sponsor and active involvement of the warfighters.
