Niteworks was delighted to welcome the Chief Executive of Defence Equipment and Support, Tony Douglas, for a visit on 28 February, creating the opportunity for him to hear more about the work undertaken by the partnership and to meet members of the DE&S team who work as part of the core team at Farnborough.
The Niteworks team used exemplar projects focused on the themes of complexity and agility to illustrate the work of the partnership that has undertaken 200 projects over the last four years for MOD. Mr Douglas was shown how through the capabilities of the Niteworks core team, projects were rapidly established, populated with expertise, and equipped with the knowledge from prior projects and from across the defence enterprise.
Commenting on the visit Simon Jewell, Managing Director Niteworks, said, “We were able to cover a lot of ground that showed the benefits to MOD and industry of working collaboratively, using innovative techniques to accelerate capability development. The fact that over 3,000 people have attended project workshops over the last four years is testament to the commitment shown by the partnership to support our armed forces.”
