The success of the MOD/industry partnership has been a key feature in Niteworks' achievements. Through the joint efforts of the MOD/industry partners, Niteworks has demonstrated a proven methodology and capability that supports the customer in optimising its investment decisions within the networked environment.

The Partners

The Niteworks partnership consists of ten UK defence industry companies (BAE Systems, EADS, EDS, Finmeccanica, General Dynamics, Logica, MBDA, QinetiQ, Raytheon and Thales) together with MOD, DSTL, and 33 Associate organisations. The prime contract with MOD is held by BAE Systems.

A Multi-Skilled Team

By drawing on the facilities and intellectual capabilities of all Partners from both MOD and Industry, Niteworks has created a world-class experimentation capability. The sharing and cross-fertilisation of knowledge, skills and experience has been paramount in the success of Niteworks during the Assessment Phase.

Collaborative Culture

Niteworks' unique culture and behaviour, and the fact that Niteworks has independence, means the partnership retains real neutrality. Niteworks has developed a robust model for MOD and Industry to work together for the common good, in an atmosphere where company origins and individual competitive advantage are not a driving force.
