UK MOD
The UK MOD has a major role in the Niteworks partnership, with many stakeholders from a wide-ranging pan-MOD community directly supporting aspects of Niteworks delivery. Strategic direction for Niteworks is provided by a 2* MOD governance board, with programme direction being provided by DAES (Director Analysis Experimentation & Simulation) and DGE (DG Equipment).
Niteworks Team
MOD contributes key posts within the Niteworks team including a presence on the management team, military requirements managers and technical subject matter experts. DSTL personnel fill key technical roles within the team.
Niteworks MOD Team
The Niteworks MOD team, part of the Systems Engineering & Integration Group, provides the project management role for the contract with the Lead Industry Partner (BAE Systems). DAES is also represented on the Niteworks management team.
Systems Engineering & Integration Group (SEIG)
Niteworks works in partnership with SEIG to share architectural representations of the current and future battlespace.
Theme Support
Each Niteworks Theme is driven by a question posed by MOD sponsors, including MOD central staff, project teams, warfare centres and warfighters. Military personnel in current operational roles take part in Niteworks experiments together with Niteworks staff in order to deliver strong, evidenced recommendations.
